Pembroke: Proving I know too much about and think about things too much.
Chris: Ok, now, don’t laugh at me…I’m pretty sure that a lot of little boys…and probably a few girls…did this. But, as a kid, I used to go on lizard and salamander hunts. We lived out in the country so there were PLENTY of them to be found if you went looking. I’d always have like a giant glass jar, filled with rocks and sticks that I’d put them in. If it was frogs, then I’d occassionally put water in for them. This whole thing Pemmy has with rough skin reminded me of when I was a kid and asked stupid questions…hell, I still ask stupid questions that my old ass should already know the answer to. I always wondered if it “hurt” to make lizard babies. It couldn’t have felt good to either partner…and if it was rough in both cases, then the friction would probably cause a fire. But, one day, I actually found two lizards and was like “yeah, two!” but noticed something pink protruding out of the one on top…yeah, that’s what that was. I had witnessed two lizards getting it on at the age of 12…horrible, horrible sight.
Pembroke: When I was a kid I only caught frogs and crawfish. I couldn’t ever find any salamanders. ;_; I did once see a frog giving another frog a ride when I was a kid… I felt the need to separate them.

Pembroke: Okay, the Pembroke character isn’t really me, but if anything an exaggeration of me while I was single. Plus he’s a dragon. However this is definitely one time where he does truly emulate me, because I totally think Zelda was mad smoking hot in the cartoon. I actually prefer that design to the game design, and I don’t care what any of you nay-sayers say.
Chris: I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought Zelda was hot in that cartoon. I remember one episode in particular, where Link was trying to get a kiss from her as usual, but at night, so he was scaling a rope across to Zelda’s room, and when she woke up to step outside and see what was going on, she was in her night gown. It pretty much had the same effect on me as seeing April O’Neill and her quadruple D size bahoobajoobs in her night gown when they’d show that..which was rare, but it happened. I think it’s weird that we as artists find fictional women attractive, but then again, maybe it’s just like looking at a painting of a beautiful woman…just, in motion. Other fictional characters I found attractive are (and the first person to call me a furry will be breathing through their fingers) Cleo from the Cadillac Cats, Kiva from Megas XLR, Carla from Kidd Video, Drissy from the New Adventures of He-Man, Bayonetta, Cammy (obviously) and I’ll stop with Poison Ivy from Batman TAS, otherwise this list could go on forever.
Pembroke: Preach it, brother. It might be an artist thing, but I sure think a lot of cartoon women are hot. Though I never did think April O’Neil was hot for some reason. Not sure why. I did TOTALLY think Cleo was freakin’ hot, even if she was a… cat. She’s probably to blame for my catgirl obsession… her and Catwoman… Mmm… Catwoman… I was a Selina and Poison Ivy fan all the way on Batman: TAS. I was one of the few fans who didn’t have the mad hard on for Harley.
Other fictional women I find hot would include Miruru from Tenshi Ni Narumon/I’m Gonna’ Be An Angel, Chun-Li from Street Fighter, Felicia from Darkstalkers (I’m not a furry, seriously), Supergirl from Superman: TAS, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, and Vixen from JLU, Baiken from Guilty Gear, Athena from KOF, Bunnie Rabbot from Sonic SatAM (seriously, I’m not a furry!), Tron Bonne from Mega Man: Legends, Tiffany Lords from Rival Schools, Storm from The X-Men, Lum from Urusei Yatsura, Arina from Waku Waku 7, The Baroness from GI Joe, and the list goes on and on and on and on and on… damn… I think I might have a problem here.
Sorry, guys. I’m totally ill today. So I’m just gonna’ go to sleep now. Sorry I don’t have anything witty to say today.
So I’ll just reming you all to please vote on the Jazzy figure for me. It can’t get made if I don’t get enough positive votes. You guys know you want a Jazzy, right? RIGHT?!
Besides if Jazzy gets made it will open the door to more figures of my characters. Namely potential Shelly and Pembroke figures.
I’ve only been to a sperm clinic once in my life, and it wasn’t to sell sperm, it was to have a test ran on my spermies to see why my wife wasn’t getting pregnant. Well, if I was able to learn anything from the test, it was that the pregnancy issue wasn’t my fault. I seem to have some sort of ungodly sperm count. Woo?
Oh, and here’s another fun piece from Chris:
You know, the only time I’ve ever seen or heard about sperm banks is on tv or movies…for a long time…even now, I refuse to believe they actually exist. Mind you, if they do, I’m not going to one. The last thing this planet needs is another me…trust me on this.

Sugar > Corn Syrup
Mountain Dew Throwback is great stuff. It and Pepsi Throwback (the only tolerable version of Pepsi) are currently available from Pepsico for a limited time. They are in short, versions of Mountain Dew and Pepsi where the Corn Syrup is replaced with sugar so they can resemble their original formula. They come complete with awesomely retro can designs. If you can find some at your local store, I recommend you get it. It’s awesome and tasty!
Plus there’s a hidden reference in today’s comic. I wonder if anyone will catch it.
I tend to make taking out the trash a game by throwing the trash bags onto the curb for curbside pickup, and seeing just how far I can throw them and still make the curb. The difference between me and June is I’m on the first floor. 
However this comic has inspired some memories from Chris, so here’s some additional commentary from him.
Back when I what was a bachelor, I had my very first apartment and I was extremely happy to be living on my own. My action figures all over the place set up in little scenes, anime and game posters all over the wall, all my plants inside and outside on the patio. Oh, and the college girls that lived in the complex, whom I never would have met had it not been for my friend Mario being so friendly with all the tenants. The only drawback, I had a neighbor above me. Big, swole, buzz cut, country ass weight lifter. I learned that living on the bottom floor SUCKED MARMOSET NUTS!!! This guy, I swear to GOD, used to just drop his weights on the floor at all hours of the night when I was trying to sleep. I’m talking like 2 and 3 am. But the thing that sucked the most, I swear he though that my patio was a dumpster. He’d drop garbage bags, beer bottles, beer cans, whiskey bottles, magazines, brooms, dust pans…I swear, some of the household cleaning supplies I own now are a result of that jackass tossing shit down like it was nothing. At first, I just thought he was racist, but then I realized how he treated his bleach blonde bimbo bitch of a girlfriend and I realized, he’s just an idiot. I feel Pembroke’s pain right now, even though he was probably just passing by. Oh, I know the pain all too well.
Yeah, I know, I said I was done with the Chaotix stuff, but I saw Disney’s insanely awesome movie, The Princess And The Frog, and it inspired this strip. It’s a great movie and you should all watch it.
Unfortunately I don’t have much else to say. I’ve had possibly one of the worst days of my life today. My computer has completely crashed thanks to it somehow getting a shit ton of maleware and spyware despite me having virus and spyware protection programs I run daily, so it’s pretty much unusable at the moment (it won’t even let me access the internet or change my wallpaper at the moment). I’m typing this post on my laptop, which is slow, clunky, and in pretty terrible shape. Too make matters worse, I almost lost my job today, and my bosses decided to keep me around the office during this near fire long enough to make it to where I was only able to get like 4 hours of sleep. Sigh.
Yes, the Triple Baconator is real, and I think Wedny’s is trying to kill people. Granted this didn’t stop me from trying to eat one. Surprisingly, I’m still alive, but I’m sure it has at least shaved five years off my life.
Now I was going to ramble a bit about the Baconator and Wendy’s, but colorist, Chris, sent me a funny rambling message as a response to this comic, so I decided to post that instead. It’s way more entertaining than anything I’d have been able to write.
“The Baconator…man, I was so mad when they brought that thing out. I was so used to getting the double quarter pounder with bacon and cheese…that thing was awesome. Then one night, we got hungry so I drove down to the Wendy’s around the corner to pick us up the number 4, only to find out it was replaced with this “baconator” beast. So I got two of those meals. Got back to the house and realized it was just waaaaaaaay too much meat. I mean, I looooooooooooove bacon…I think bacon makes EVERYTHING better…unless it’s chocolate covered bacon..don’t know how people eat that stuff. But the baconator…something tasted different. I’m guessing it’s the massive amounts of meat mixing together…more than I was used to. To this day I still can’t really eat one. I used to love Wendy’s, but ever since Dave died, it hasn’t been the same for me. Kinda like when McDonald’s started using olean…that stuff does not like my system at all. I swear the only thing I can eat at McDonald’s are the cinnamon sugar pretzels, and not all of them have those. So I started eating Jack in the Box all the time…that got old, but the bacon ultimate cheeseburger is so awesome! So is the sourdough jack…mmm. But to keep from getting bored, I started eating at Burger King…..A LOT. Why? Convenience. There’s one RIGHT around the corner from our neighborhood…sometimes the girls from the nearby ranch ride their horses up there…I need to take a picture. And, when I was working at Gamestop, there was one right ACROSS the street, and I continued eating there even when I left to work for that printing company cause it wasn’t too far from it. Also, in between all that I’d been eating a lot of Whataburger. See what this comic has done…brought out my bad eating habits. I literally LIVED on fast food. I don’t eat as much of it as I used to, but it’s still a BIG part of my diet. For the most part now, I eat steak burgers from Steak n Shake…a restaraunt chain that came here from the northern states…though there’s only ONE in Houston and it’s right down the street as well. The inside is set up almost EXACTLY like James Coney Island, but the food is AWESOME. My and my friends eat there on a daily basis sometimes.
